Church Notice: Coronavirus Update
Dear families and friends of St Aidan’s Anglican Church, Hurstville Grove,
As you may be aware, there have been a small number of confirmed coronavirus cases in NSW. Following published advice from the NSW Department of Health, St Aidan’s is taking precautions to ensure the health and well-being of all its members and visitors.
In accordance with the guidelines, and as a way of loving and caring for your fellow family in Christ at St Aidan’s, we ask that you would hold off visiting St Aidan’s Anglican Church, Hurstville Grove in the event that:
- it has been confirmed that you have contracted the coronavirus,
- you have been in close contact of a confirmed case of coronavirus within the last 14 days, or
- you have visited China in the last 14 days.
Close contact is defined as living in the same household, 15 minutes face-to-face contact with a person with confirmed coronavirus in any setting, or sharing a closed space with a person with confirmed coronavirus for more than 2 hours.
On a general note, if you have flu-like symptoms, as with other viruses, you should visit your GP and avoid visiting St Aidan’s until the symptoms have cleared.
Please join us in praying that God would bring an end to this virus, for the care of those who have already contracted the virus, and wisdom for health organisations around the world as they seek to care for and treat patients suffering from the virus.
Thank you and kind regards,
Greg Ball
